Sea transport of 15 house modules and a hotel to Iceland

One shipment has already been successfully carried out with these customers to transport the house modules by ship.
Preparations for this project started from ordering a ship with the right hold size, and the necessary adjustments to the modules were made with the house factory so that the lifting and securing would go more smoothly. Each module was up to 42 mt, special order for Iceland. A total of 15 holiday homes with a concrete-slab foundation.
200x200 mm beams were cut to the required size and used for chocking the goods. In addition, one basement and a couple of containers were loaded on deck. The loading operation in Paldiski took a total of 8 hours with including loading and securing.
In Paldiski, we took care of both,  ship's agency and cargo handling/securing.

The ship then proceeded to Klaipeda, where 10 lighter modules were loaded on deck, which together formed a hotel. The cooperation between us, local terminal crew and ships crew went smooth. The Klaipeda operation all together with loading/securing took somewhere around 6 hours.
