Loading of steel constructions in klaipeda
In connection with one of our main customers from Iceland, we have often loaded steel constructions onto their monthly liner vessel. Here is a perfect example of combining different groups of goods on the same ship.
The ship came to Klaipeda, where it had to load reinforcement bars, timber goods, reinforcement mesh and also steel structures so that other construction materials and wood could be loaded from Tallinn.
As the steel constructions were unpackaged and scattered loose along the quays, it was also a challenge to set up the loading order. As you can see from the pictures, we were very successful.
In Klaipeda, our job was to organize the loading of the goods in cooperation with the terminal and to secure the goods.
In Tallinn, we took care of the ship's agenting and were also responsible for the entire loading procedure and securing.
